Canada Skateboard’s Announces 2023 National Team Program

Canada Skateboard is proud to announce its roster of skateboarders for the 2023 National and Development Team program, ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic qualifications. With 20 astonishing Canadian skateboarders, the program focuses on qualifying athletes for Paris 2024 through the World Skate Pro Tour, and preparing for Los Angeles 2028. The Olympic qualification process is ardous, but thanks to the experiences and lessons learned from Tokyo 2020, the team is ready and in good hands with qualified coaches.
Ahead of Paris, the athletes will compete in Argentina, Italy, Switzerland, the U.A.E, and across Canada this summer at the Slurpee Canada Skateboard Open Tour.
“Canada Skateboard's National Team is an eclectic, multi-generational, and confident group of skateboarders. A brilliant blend of leadership and experience combined with youth and enthusiasm. We are excited to see what this talented team of individuals can accomplish on the world's stage!” - Hagan McCreath, Executive Director, Canada Skateboard.
