PUSHING ACROSS CANADA THIS SUMMER
Canada Skateboard is proud to announce The Slurpee Canada Skateboard Open, presented by Tech Deck. This free to enter, multi-day activation tour is happening in six cities across Canada.
The Open will connect the skateboard community by hosting seven competitions and five community days running June through August. The event weekend kicks off with a community day partnering with the local skateboard community with a skateboard competition the following day.
COMMUNITY DAY WORKSHOPS
Come out and celebrate skateboarding with us as we shine a light on local skateboard clubs, host Canada Skateboard workshops, clinics, skate games, prizes, and more.
Building a skateboarding environment that is accessible, safe and welcoming for all participants is a priority for Canada Skateboard. SheCANsk8 clinics are a gender equity initiative focused on building safe and inclusive networks for women, girls and underrepresented people who skateboard in Canada.
Partnering with established local female skateboard clubs, these clinics are exclusively for women and younger girls to try skateboarding, meet new friends, learn trick tips, have fun and get free stuff !
New to skateboarding? Interested in running skate sessions within your community? Join a Tech Deck Start Pushing workshop! Your first step in learning the fundamentals of skateboarding. This initiative is focused on introducing skateboarding to newcomers in a safe and fun way !
