We are excited to present Emanuele Barbier (@emanuelebarbier_ ), the new Communications and Operations coordinator at Canada Skateboard.
Barbier is a skater in Quebec with expertise in queer trans community work. They got their bearings while working as an editor for Skateism and continue writing for diverse skateboarding magazines. In Montreal, they help facilitate Planche Collective's safe skate space for girls, gays and theys. With a background in photo and video journalism, we hear Barbier never leaves their house without a camera.
Always chasing clips and stories, we are thrilled for Emanuele to join the Canada Skateboard team.
